Understanding CHROSNOF

Step 2|Your aging has a pattern.

Last time, we said the starting point of aging differs by person. This time, we explain those three patterns more concretely.

Pattern 1: Strong oxidation

Lots of outdoor activity, frequent UV exposure, irregular sleep — people with this kind of lifestyle tend to generate more reactive oxygen species inside the skin.

Reactive oxygen species are essentially the skin's rust. Left unaddressed, substances that destroy collagen increase, and wrinkles and sagging tend to advance. If dullness or uneven skin tone is noticeable, strong oxidation may be the pattern.

Pattern 2: Strong glycation

Preference for sweets, frequent white rice and bread, blood sugar spikes easily — people with this kind of lifestyle tend toward glycation, where skin proteins bond with sugar and deteriorate.

Glycation is the skin scorching. Collagen stiffens and the skin appears more yellowish and dull. If you notice your skin looking "more yellow and dull" with age, glycation may be advancing.

Pattern 3: Barrier breaks down first

Prone to dryness, reactive to minor irritation, nothing ever seems to work — people in this state likely have weakened barrier function.

A broken barrier lets external irritants in directly. Dryness and inflammation become chronic, and other care becomes less effective.

These three often overlap within one person. Identifying which is the "lead" is the key to determining care direction.

How do you find out your pattern?

Looking at the skin alone is not enough. The pattern emerges only by looking comprehensively at the full lifestyle — diet, sleep, exercise, stress, skincare approach.

In the next article, we explain how CHROSNOF reads this.
