Behind ageing lies a slow accumulation of fluctuations too small to see. We call it the smouldering fire. It never flares up, yet because it never quite goes out, it gradually unsettles the condition of the skin.
Essence Sérénité Profonde is an essence made to attend to that smouldering. At its centre are dipotassium glycyrrhizate to condition the skin, Centella asiatica leaf/stem extract — long valued for caring for the skin — and niacinamide to support its condition. Layered with them are a vitamin C derivative (magnesium ascorbyl phosphate), ferulic acid, panthenol, allantoin and green tea leaf extract.
For the base of moisture, we chose sodium PCA, close to the skin's own moisturising factors, and polyquaternium-51, which holds water. Rather than hurrying change with strong stimulation, it returns the skin to a quiet state with the first step of each day. That is the role of this essence.

Designed as a product for the I-axis. In the CHROSNOF view, lingering small fluctuations sit upstream in the cascade alongside oxidation (R), and cast a shadow over what follows — the barrier (B) and the network that supports firmness (F).
Settle R and I first, then rebuild B, then nurture F. The essence comes first in the routine to keep that order on the skin. No fragrance is added.

First bring R (antioxidation) and I (inflammation) down to set the condition. Then rebuild B (barrier) to establish the foundation. Finally raise F (fibroblast) while holding A (anti-glycation) and S (senescence control) down to close the sequence. The order of the routine is the order of the chain. With oxidation and inflammation still in place, nothing layered on top will work. Set the condition first. Building comes after.

Can I use it on sensitive skin?
It is formulated with care to keep the burden on the skin low, but how it feels depends on the condition of your skin. Before first use, please do a patch test on the inside of your arm.
In what order should I layer it with other products?
Cleanser → essence (this product) → serums (Concentré Revitalisant Avancé, Sérum Renaissance Beauté) → cream. Use the serums after the essence has prepared the skin.
How long does one bottle last?
100 mL lasts about one month. It varies with the amount and frequency of use.
